Hi everyone, I’m Averi! Welcome to A Very Good Candle Co.

I was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico and have lived in Albuquerque my entire life. I started making candles during the pandemic to keep busy as most places were on lockdown & closed. After researching, experimenting & testing various wax blends, wicks, and different scents, for the better part of 2021, I decided to start my business – making & selling candles. A Very Good Candle Co. was officially started in late 2021. The name of my business is a play on my first name and the fact that my candles are very good. 😊

All of the candles are hand poured and made in small batches, 7 or less, in my home. I use a natural blend wax that is made up of coconut, soy and beeswax. The fragrance oils we use are also Phthalate-free.
